Step by Step on creating Quentin
Hair
I firstly started creating the hair by adding mouse onto the hair I then sectioned the hair and started drying the hair using a round brush working my way from the nape area towards the crown are once I got into the front I then added more hair mouse as my model had a short block fringe I used a pin tale comb and brushed hair mouse into my models hair making sure it was going between the  layers of the hair rather than the product just sitting on the top. I then used a hair dryer and blow dried the hair back words for ten seconds whilst also using water to change the hair shaped how I wanted it to fall. i then added two section clips onto each side holding the hair back but using paper so I wouldn't dent the hair as I didn't want any kinks in the hair and left it on until I completed my make up design and added some hairspray for a smooth down fly away look.
Make-up
I used a pallet foundation tone to what my model already had giving a Gothic look. once the foundation was applied I then started to create a black eye look effect by mixing a grey, yellow, red and black together creating the colour I wanted and I applied it on top of the eyes and the bottom creating a black eye effect. I then added a red pencil liner inside the waterline creating a sour look effect. once I was happy with the black eye results I then added a Beard onto my female model creating her to look like a male by dabbing my sponge into a grey grease colour palette and dabbing onto my models face into a bird effect and using the same sponge I then created a sour scratch on the right eye from where Claudia has been beating Quentin as she thinks he has been cheating on her. I then left the blood on my model nose for last and applied it on with a brush building it up by layers creating texture.

My Claudia Design

My final Music Video Claudia Design

Claudia is a 20 year old girl that lives in her own world. And as a child she was left alone with out parenting guide, that she ended up brig in her self up by watching alot of horror movies.

After Claudia seeing so many horror movies she now believes that this is how life really is. Horrendously scary and she fears to death that someone is coming to get her!

Claudia never leaves the house or has any contacts with the outside world. She keeps in touch with the outside world through her neighbours that bring her food and the morning mail.
Claudia is a very paranoid young girl that never step out of the house as she thinks that there is someone out to get her, in fact she even locks herself inside the house..

Claudia suits her look to what ever film she is watching at the time, She gets her fashion looks from the actresses that are on the horror movies she is watching. Claudia has no idea of the fashion styles in the real world as she never goes out the house to socialise.

Claudia has an imaginary boyfriend called Quintin, to her he is always a disappointment! they speak on the telephone alot as when he does come round to see her she always has the door locked with fear that someone is going to come for her!

Claudia has a paranoia that Quintin is cheating on her as he is never around, so she has him under the thumb and shows him whos boss by beating him and punishing him by making him her prisioner so no one else can have him as he is all hers!!

I loved how dark Rihanna's music video Disturbia was it inspired myself to accomplish my design!

  • Sleek (chocolate) translucent loose powder
  • Mac (deep dark) blot powder
  • (Dark blue) eye shadow
  • (Black) eye shadow
  • (Light brown) eye shadow
  • (White) pencil liner
  • (Red) pencil liner
Accessories used
  • Contact lenses
  • Black nail varnish ( Barry M)
  • Fabric
  • Leather jacket

Creating the hair
  • Curly wig

On creating Claudia I actually got the inspiration from one of the Rihannas music videos called Disturbia, as i loved the freaky but also sexy look Rihanna was wearing in the video and it inspired me to create a sexy but also freaky evil look for my Claudia.
Step by step
Nails
I firstly started creating the nails as it would give them time to set and I painted them black and applied fabric on top securing them by applying a clear top coat on top of the fabric on the nails.

Make up

Foundation
I applied the make up by starting off with applying the foundation evenly onto my models skin by using a brush until the foundation was nicely evenly applied.

Eye brows
I creating the eye brows by using a black eyebrow pencil.  Creating a very arch evil eyebrow and highlighting the eyebrow bone underneath making it stand out.

Eyes
The eyes where created by using a dark blue eye shadow on the eye socket and bring in the eye shadow under the bottom lashes and applying a very heavy dark layer of eye shadow. Once I was happy with the amount of darkness around the eyes, I then started to blend the eye shadow upwards towards the eyebrow bone by using a blending brush. I then applied a black eye shadow onto the outer corner of my models eyes and blended it inwards, giving a more dark look effect. I then applied a black eye liner onto the water line to define my models eyes.

Countoring
I countored the cheek bones by using a lighter colour first to countour the face and then i gradually build my countoring up by using a much darker colour making the cheekbones stand out and giving an evil look to the bone structure.

Lips
I used a black lip liner and went around the lip line making them look more define, I then shaded each corner with the black pencil liner and shaded a red lipliner from the dark corners inwards towards the middle of the mouth and finished it off by adding a white lip liner to the middle of the lips and got my model to rub them together and blending the colours in.

Accesories
I got my model to apply the contact lenses herself by firstly washing her hands for health and safety.

Hair
I used a curly wig onto my model and just textured it with my fingures creating a more messy look effect.

Creating an EVIL, dark but beautiful look

I really like Angelina Jolie -  Evil, Dark Beautiful look.
I have created something similar within using those keywords..

Eyebrows
  • I used a darker shade onto my eyebrow than what my eyebrow colour naturally already is creating an evil tone by making it stand out. I then arched my eyebrow by making it very height and long pop them out by creating a evil shape by using an eyeshadow and applying it on with a brush..

Eyeshadow
  1. I firstly added a black waterline pencil by Mac on to my waterline creating definition onto my eyes and then applied a dark blue toned eyeshadow on the eye socket and under the water line only.
  2. I then used a black water liner on the eye crease creating an arch around and by using a blending small brush i started blended upwards creating a faded grey colour tone.
  3. I then added a grease eyeshadow onto the corners of each side of the eyes and blended it through brig in it down under the eyes following the dark blue colour.
  4. I then added a highlighter on the eyebrow bone and blended it all evenly together.
  5. For the final touch i applied a black maskara onto my eyelashes

Lips
  • As you can see on the last image I had already had a dark purple lipstick applied onto my lips. So what I did was left it on and applied a black pencil liner by Mac, and applied it all the way around the lip liner and shaded the corners by giving a more evil detail darkeners effect..

Dermalogica battles adult acne!

Suffering with acne has always been my worst biggest enemy its been a problem that I've struggled to battle with for years until now!

I started getting acne when I was 11 years old. I thought it was something that would pass with age.
I have done many thing to curb it. I do my best to stay away from dairy treats: ice cream, cheese, chocolate milk, sour cream, spicy food and alcohol. I keep up with cleaning my pillow cases and disinfecting my phone. I make sure I never touch my face with out washing my hands
Regardless of all those things, I still have to wash my face. And even still, I get break outs, especially at that time of the month were my hormones decide to take a ride on the crazy train. My favorite, most-effective brand is Dermalogica why ? because it works!

I came across Dermalogica through the salon I work in at Lookfantastic in Worthing. I tried free samples packets, I tried them out and saw great, clearing results in about a week. A couple months later my skin looked so calm and felt so smooth and it was no longer soar. I know that I will always have acne as its hormonal, but that doesn't mean you can't have good skin. You can treat adult acne with Dermalogica and get great clearing results.

Perfect acne coverage with Bare Minerals

Suffering with acne isn't easy your always self conscious about how you look and some days your skin can be worst than others. My secret is Bare Minerals. Why? because its natural!

I always get told how flawless and how well I cover my skin with out looking like I have a huge amount of make-up applied, by suffering with adult acne it's not always easy to have a perfect long lasting coverage result. So I though I would give you my secret what I use on my skin to cover it up and calm it down, as I know there are people out there that suffer with acne or if not worst..

Bare Minerals is made with very natural ingredients that lets your skin breath. It's so natural that you can even wear it at the gym, and not worry about it clogging up your pores, or having to continuingly apply throughout the day. It's also so natural that you can even sleep wearing it! it's a lightweight wear with rich pigmentation a creamy bendability that has UVA/UVB sun protection.

What do I use ?
I use the medium beige powder foundation, followed to a perfect finish using a mineral veil to set the make-up into place.

How do I apply it and how does it work?
Medium Beige foundation
It's applied by swirling a small amount of bare minerals foundation in the lid until it all disappears into the brush, then you tap away excess and buff onto the skin in a circular motion, the more you buff it in the more into your layers of your skin the minerals will sit. Rather than sitting on the first layer of the skin, were it can easily be removed just by a touch.

Mineral veil

I then apply the mineral veil by swirling a small amount on to the lid until it all disappears into the brush, then you tap away the excess and buff starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones, swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks and nose. The mineral veil is a finishing powder, a see-through but spectacular finale for any kind of complexion. The mineral veil minimises lines, pores, absorbs oils, and softens your completion, it gives you a flawless finish and best of all utterly weightless that locks make-up in place and gives your skin an air brushed finished perfection.
